I would try Home Depot because they have a service for some items that they sell. HD is expensive labor. I would also call the gas company for a reference. Gas installation can be tricky.

if it not old it should be fine most have a lot of safety switches I like gas opposed to other sources of fuel much cleaner and maintenance free , if your worried about the safety call the gas company and have them check it out and light it for you the 1st time , good luck
